Regarding Press Release from Sensome SAS
Asahi Intecc Group announces that Asahi Intecc has concluded a Shareholders Agreement and a Collaboration Agreement with Sensome SAS (Sensome), a French medical device company.
Sensome possesses advanced sensing technology, which enables identification of the composition and structure of blood clots which cause Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS). By combining Sensome's sensing technology and Asahi Intecc's guidewire technology, Sensome and Asahi will proceed to jointly develop a new smart stroke guidewire which has beneficial roles for interventional therapies.
Impact on operating results for the fiscal year ending June 2020 related to this matter will be minimal.
